Emmanuelle Chriqui is a Canadian actress in television and film. She was born in Montreal, Quebec to Moroccan-Jewish immigrant parents. She is fluent in both French and English.
When she was two years old, her family moved to Toronto, Ontario where she grew up in a suburb northeast of the city called Markham-Unionville. When she was a young child, her 18 year old older brother paid for her acting classes and when she finished high school she decided to pursue a career in acting. She had undergone the Arts York Drama Program at Unionville High School, which is a high school in her suburb of Toronto that focuses on the creative arts.
Her very first role was when she was 10 years old and performed in a commercial for McDonald’s. She later moved to Vancouver in the 1990s and supported herself by working as a waitress while she auditioned for roles. During this time she guest starred in a number of television series including Once a Thief, Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, Forever Knight and Are You Afraid of the Dark? Her very first Hollywood performance was in a supporting role on Detroit Rock City in 1999.
Emmanuelle Chriqui then went on to perform in the horror thriller Ricky 6 and the teen sex comedy 100 Girls. Her true breakout performance was in the following year when she played the foxy character of “Claire Bonner” in Snow Day. She also played Eve in National Lampoon’s Adam and Eve in 2005.
Chriqui also starredd in the “Lips of an Angel” music video for the band Hinder and the “Whatever It Is” music video for the Zac Brown Band. She also has a role as the voice of Cheetara in the 2011 animated series of ThunderCats. Video game fans might know her from her voice over and short live action appearance in the very popular game Call of Duty: Black Ops. She also made a lot of teenage *NSYNC fans jealous when she got to star in the 2001 romantic comedy On the Line with Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. She got to kiss Lance Bass and the couple won a “Choice Liplock Teen Choice Award” for their onscreen smooch.
She is most well known for her role on the HBO show Entourage, as the character Sloan McQuewick. She is the daughter of Terrence McQuewick and she is pregnant with Eric’s baby. She is a “Daddy’s Little Girl” and is considered one of the sexiest characters on the show.
She also played the love interest in the film You Don’t Mess With the Zohan with Adam Sandler. Emmanuelle Chriqui also was placed at the top of the AskMen.com list of the Most Desirable Women of 2010. She was also ranked at #81 on the Maxim Magazine Hot 100 of 2007 list and voted the 8th sexiest girl of 2008 by FHM. She recently attended the Young Hollywood Awards and won the “Standout Performance Trophy”.
